If you are using LED flash lamps, you do not need the larger warming resistors. Just leave them disconnected.

I had thought the mtg bracket was welded fully parallel with the coil frame. I just popped the assy off the playfield to take a look.
You can see below the bracket is not quite parallel. I could not get my calipers in there to reliably measure the gap. It's very slight, ...

Thanks for the feedback! I was able to spend a few hours tinkering today. More steps forward than back but still took a few back...that link to resolder to the center tip worked great on a few of the lights. Decided to place a very thin metal washer toward the back of the bracket to give it the lift/angle necessary to hit the ball in the center.
Now it looks perfect:-)
