Quoted from CostenM:Hi All,
I'm new to Pinside and I also own the Whoa Nellie machine. It's awesome! My question is how do I get the knocker sound working? It tests fine but I am just not sure how to set it to activate it and get it going during game play. The machine is set to free play. I als...

Quoted from jboner1058:Well at least with three I’ll always have a backup lol. I might actually use all 3 of them. One for the course polish which doesn’t take as long and 2 for the fine. If I run them at the same time I can get this metal polished even faster since I’m only doing like 5 parts...

Quoted from WorldWideWeapon:I’m sure that is was all the ramps and different holes that you could shoot. Along with unlocking the dudes mouth for a pretty tricky shot. Was just a fun game. I still liked firepower but I think firepower 2 looks a little more fun but I haven’t played it. I haven’...

Finally got a new node board in. They ended up replacing node board 9, but this has caused a new issue. After switching out boards, when I boot up the game I get the message "node not found." So now the situation has become that the game can't even locate node board 9. DIP is correct, red / yell...

Quoted from Sonora70:I may have found the culprit. The relay coil I just ordered, a GA-31-2000 is showing resistance of .3 to 0 ohms. According to the chart on flippers.com it should be 47. Being a new coil I never suspected it being the problem. It looks like new but.....
Wow, go figure. Defi...

Quoted from Patofnaud:
Plus if you really want to cut down on more heat, replace the TIP41's with IRFZ34NPBF's.... They are the 'NPN' version of the IRF9Z34NPBF (just like the TIP41 is the NPN version of the TIP42)

Quoted from jawjaw:I could use some help with my wall target. The wall target stopped going down a little while ago. I could see no problem with the small coil (SM 30-1100-DC) so I took apart the assembly. Everything looked fine and coil moved freely. I put it back together and it worked fine fo...
