Mr68 on "Total Nuclear Annihilation production by Spooky Pinball"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 18:57

Yes indeed powerball and man does this game play fast, ..er faster. The powerball is self explanatory in its action. Lighter and faster it changes up the action off the flippers, slings and the plunger. It also rotates its position in the trough due to multiball and the randomness so you never know...

BorgDog on "A Disco Music Pin would make a terrible theme. . . or would it?"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 18:57

Quoted from CNKay:I can remember playing pinball on skates at the roller skating rink. And that big disco ball in the middle with music cranked up to feel the music. Good times! image-1 (resized).jpg

jawjaw on "Iron Maiden: What do you do when your dream theme is a letdown?"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 18:57

It's not uncommon for a theme to be a letdown. People are either upset over the art, callouts, voice talents, layout, code, or whatever. I think the more interest you have in a theme the more critical you are of the game. I have no interest in the band Iron Maiden but you have to at least admit t...

RazerX on "Will future Stern designs live up to IMDN?"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 18:56

I would hope that the other designers at Stern feel some pressure to create something a little more fresh as a result of Maiden's success.

MinusWorlds on "Iron Maiden: What do you do when your dream theme is a letdown?"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 18:56

Quoted from TOK:I'm definitely not trolling, it was an honest and what I felt was an unbiased opinion. Last game I bought was a Star Trek Pro, a game I really thought was great and bought despite a theme that doesn't really appeal to me at all. If nothing else, I'm objective. I won't crap on somethi...

JethroP on "The EM seeking parts thread."

Monday 21 May 2018 at 13:37

Quoted from boilerman:back door with the wood channel? or metal channel? lockbar with welded end caps or removable end caps? The back door sits in a wood channel. The lockbar, I don't know what fits the game (World Fair). It's missing.

jahbarron on "Williams Ringer EM - Price as-is vs restored"

Monday 21 May 2018 at 13:31

Bought mine 90% working in rough but clean shape (cab was heavy in the grain and the paint wore pretty badly) for $1100. Spent a lot of time sanding and painting the cab, glass is flaking & cracking but I don't mind that look. Got a few thousand plays on it at the bar and now it's not crediting....
