vireland on "Who is second guessing their jjp potc preorder"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:10

Quoted from dnapac:I, whole heartedly, agree. Competition is good. Pinball is in a new renaissance. Such a good time for all pinball, after being all but dead a few years ago. The triple disc was cool, and I hope JJP figures out something better than the pizza disc offered. Actually, I think so...

GodSpeedBR on "Online store? Met Premium?"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:10

Looking to buy 2-3 NIB pins this year and looking for my fellow pinside colleagues for help. Currently living in NC, can you recommend online retailers for NIB machines? Unfortunately I have not located any physical stores here in the state. Also, are Met Premiums really descontinued?

So, a premium Iron Maiden is $7300 bucks out the door for everybody in the known universe no matter who you are?

This is the rub, folks at home with new playfields tend to overthink it; I know I’m guilty of this. But then you remember that this is factory work and those folks just hit them with hammers and don’t think twice.

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:07

Just an update: I have had more than anticipated interest in new cabinets, I have tried to get back to all the PMs (if I missed you I apologize, please reach out again). The cabinets I have completed are already spoken for and I have quite a few more to build, I will be contacting those who ordered ...

ectobar on "Star Trek v1.61 bugs"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:06

Quoted from rubberducks:it's so ridden with bugs I think that statement is ridiculous. Yes I've read through this thread. I play my Premium regularly still. It's certainly lost a step or two, but it's still a solid game. Unfortunately all the cool rules that could have been got put into GoT and the...

dnapac on "Who is second guessing their jjp potc preorder"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:06

Quoted from vireland:Pirates really screwed up Jack's plan to have 2018 be the year they finally get to 2 titles released a year. His goal is to get to three a year. With his deep-pocket's investor he has the capital to do it. JJP just has to get through the growing pains. They're condensing the ...

adamross on "American Pinball Houdini thread"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:06

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:The game has some interesting shots which require you to re-think how you play. There is a way to hit the milk jug fairly regularly, and it is not the usual way; you have to bank it a bit. Backhanding the lock shot works much better than a straight shot attempt from the left f...

Elicash on "Installing T-nuts"

Monday 16 April 2018 at 06:04

I have done this once on a mirco repro playfield and I find the best technique is a combination of gentle tapping with a hammer to get the teeth to "bite" into the wood and then pulling the rest of the way in from the frontside of the playfield with the felt washer method. I think it is important t...
