mrossman5 on "Top 5 Underrated games"

Wednesday 21 March 2018 at 19:01

Quoted from kevmad:Please give reasons for your picks to educate the rest of why the games deserve more love. Bad Cats- People say the only thing to do is hit the left ramp and while that ramp is loaded with points, their are some other really neat shots and features. Music is EXCELLENT too.

The Hardtop is .030" thick and it's pretty rigid. (You'll receive it flat, not rolled up. Or, at least I did.) The thickness of the paint is not an issue. Flat, level inserts are much more important.

Quoted from jetmechinnc:I know it has been asked before, but just checking to see what people recommend as far as the LCD or the LED colorDMD for iron man. I’m not sure, but I think my spiderman vault has the LED version ( was put in by previous owner) Not sure how to tell them apart. Cost isn’...

Sparky on "Metallica owner's thread"

Wednesday 21 March 2018 at 19:00

Quoted from Lysurgeon:Why dont you hold left flipper and soft plunge to get it to right flipper instead of long plunging and trying to get control? I believe a lane won't flash for full collection while holding the left flipper button on plunge unless it at least hits the right orbit switch. A soft...

Having sanded and cleared bare playfields, you won't have an issue unless you stay in one single spot. Get some 240 grit on an orbital sander and start slow and easy. You will get a feel for it. If you use something like an 80 grit you might start chewing up way too much, so a lot of getting a ni...

does anyone know the rhyme or reason behind which band member is selected at the start of a game (that you collect by shooting the picks)? or is it random? I could have sworn that at one point in time it was always 'james' (leftmost) and then worked it's way up to 'robert', as you collected them one...

Another vote for Rollergames here. I actually like the theme (it's either fun and cheesy and/or nostalgic depending on your age), and it's fun to play and the callouts, music/sounds, and theme integration are awesome (what a great idea to have the locked balls spin around like rollerskaters). If I...

Astropin on "Have you read this book? Our Final Invention"

Wednesday 21 March 2018 at 18:58

Quoted from ForceFlow:Someone didn't write a program for that particular game until now? It's not the first time someone wrote a program for a computer to play a game. There are more than plenty of examples of it over the years. I'm not saying stuff like that isn't impressive--it is. It's quite a fe...
