You may have to repin the input connector for the lamp driver and replace the header pins.

Each wire has a two digit code in the schematics which designates its color and the color of the stripe if it has one.
There is a table at the bottom of one of the pages that lists all of the color codes.

Possibly a dirty start switch causing keybounce. Heavy tarnish may require more aggressive cleaning methods than the usual business card/dollar bill.

You don't need to clear coat the playfield. First clean the playfield. Since the playfield has uncomplicated artwork, you can use enamel model paint (Testors) to touch up the playfield. Let the paint thoroughly dry for a few days, then apply a few coats of carnauba wax. And play... Clear coatin...
