Automatically puts it in the "keeper" category. Has anyone been bugging Stern about a code update for TF? Not having mode or multiball progress when you "hold for status" screams...

Thanks for all the replies. The game available is priced at $4900, it’s in really nice HUO condition, and the owner says the only problem it has is that the ring magnet doesn’t hold correctly.

If you have it in tournament mode there's a bug regarding ball locks in the eye that can cause issues. If you are not in tournament mode, then do a factory reset and see if that helps.

If the cap is shorted you may find that after disconnecting it you power up ok. You'll need one long term to stabilize that 12v power but it should actually power up without it.

The stencils for the gray on the top half were pretty big. P1178609 (resized).JPG Bigger than I wanted to place in one piece. There was just too much to align all at once, so I decided to cut them into more manageable pieces like so....P1178613 (resized).JPGI covered the seams with scotch tape aft...
