As crazy as this sounds. It is true. Get the updated 2.0 chip from your distributor and the topper will begin to work.
Upsetting that quality control can't put these in on new games before they ship. However it is a very easy process to install.

Some 1.0 are for topper, some aren't. Either one of the 1.0 PICs, leave coil settings at default until you get 2.0 in the game.

Could be doesn't have the right PIC on the driver board.
Please check you game and the pictures I posted. If you don't have 2.0 in your game, leave all coil settings at default and get the 2.0 PIC in your game.

A great pin is a great pin. Should TOTAN sell for $3000 because JPOP is kind of a fuckwit? It’d be nice, but it won’t happen. I feel the same about Congo. I don’t believe in guilt by association when it comes to my games. I’ll enjoy it for what’s is, a great layout with decent rules.
