I finally settled on a design for a customized puck. I have been using one in my machine for a few months with no issues so I decided to make some up and see if people were interested. You can pick the logos you would like from the ones I have in the second photo. I have 7 black, 1 silver and 1 blue...

I think you should be able to find XDP-300R for between $4-500 and the 30R for less than $300 (it also has sd card slots for expansion but it looks like the interface is not as full featured).
here's a recent ebay listing for a XDP-100R with 2 200GB cards
