Just like classic cars. . . a lot of the decent stuff has been accounted for and people are left to try and fix up four door sedans or rusted out junk. The internet has made what is available more accessible. . . and more expensive.

extension cords will drop voltage the longer the run. same thing on air compressor lines, the longer the lines the more chance of condensation and pressure loss. glad you figured it out
