That on your pic is no crimp-connector. You've had something else plugged in there, feeding back into the lamp matrix via the paralleled plugs to the right.
As for ghosting: I've patched both L1AT and L7 and as far as I can remember although being much better, there still was a very slight ghosting ...

Game looks insane Eric has smashed this and for the programming it's fantasticly deep with varietiety. Makes other machines look naked.
