{"id":312,"date":"2007-07-10T12:35:37","date_gmt":"2007-07-10T11:35:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dotmana.com\/index.php\/?p=312"},"modified":"2007-07-10T13:31:51","modified_gmt":"2007-07-10T12:31:51","slug":"google-calendar-inside-thunderbird","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dotmana.com\/weblog\/2007\/07\/google-calendar-inside-thunderbird\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Calendar inside Thunderbird !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a good news for all users of Google Calendar : you can see and edit your Google Calendar inside your Thunderbird mail application.<\/p>\n<p>What you need :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thunderbird > 2.x<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/fr\/thunderbird\/addon\/4631\">Provider for Google Calendar<\/a> Addon<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/fr\/thunderbird\/addon\/2313\">Lightning<\/a> Addon<\/li>\n<li>A gmail account linked to your calendar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After installing Thunderbird, the provider and lightning addons, open the &#8220;Calendars&#8221; tab and add a new calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Choose &#8220;network calendar&#8221; and &#8220;Google Calendar&#8221; type of calendar. In the URL field, fill your XML private address of your calendar (available in &#8220;calendar details&#8221; in your google calendar web site).<\/p>\n<p>Then, fill in your gmail password and voila !<\/p>\n<p>This is IMO the best solution to share calendar in small business (and why not in bigger company), at a very low cost, between a lot of different collaborators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a good news for all users of Google Calendar : you can see and edit your Google Calendar inside your Thunderbird mail application.
